The mid-term Conference of the INNOVEAS project entitled “Accelerating Small Business Participation in the Transition to a Carbon Neutral Economy – Defining a Manifesto for Massive Change” was held online last November 24th, 2020.
The purpose of this conference was to review the arguments that motivate the need to move beyond business-as-usual and outline a strategy that will enable SME adoption on a massive scale of the behaviours needed for a successful energy transition.
During this conference, Gabriele Quinti (K&I) gave a presentation on the main findings of the research activities implemented in INNOVEAS focussed, mainly on barriers and drivers met by SMEs in Europe in the conception, design and implementation of Energy Efficiency Measures and, more specifically, in the practice of Energy Audits. These findings informed the design of the INNOVEAS capacity-building activities.
