The kick-off meeting of the CASTAL project took place online on October 16, 2024. The project focuses on Open Science activities aimed at archiving, analyzing, and disseminating European case studies on the “Local Sustainability Transition”, focusing on SSH (Social Sciences and Humanities) disciplines. Representatives of the two organizations implementing the project, K&I and DASSI, participated. During the kick-off meeting, in addition to summarizing the objectives and stages of the project, the operational concepts essential for the collection and selection of case study documents were presented and discussed, as well as the main aspects of the CASTAL IT infrastructure. An analytical timetable of the collection and selection phase of documents to be archived has also been developed.
