The CRiTERIA project ended in July 2024 with a series of events held in Thessaloniki, at the CERTH headquarters. From 16 to 18 July, a course was held on the potential and ways of using open source information in the field of migration and human trafficking. K&I also contributed to this course by leading a training module on the social acceptance of technological tools based on artificial intelligence in the field of migration. On 18 July, a course on the use of open source information in crime prevention and investigation was also held for representatives of law enforcement agencies and border police. Then, the final event of the project titled “Unlocking the potential of open source information in the fields of migration and trafficking” was held on 19 July, with the participation of experts in the field of information technologies and representatives of organisations working in the field of international migration.
